Firstly we have a meeting with the client and get a brief. It is important that we know what type and quantity of merchandise will be on sale. The client will usually send merchandise to us to enable us to design a Shopfitting system around it.
We believe that a Shopfitting system should be flexible so merchandise can be fully interchangeable within the store and that the system enhances the product without overpowering it.
Following investment with the latest I.T. equipment, 3-D visuals can be created to show the client exactly how their store will look, before anything is physically manufactured. The software, which is conversant with AutoCAD, creates a full 3-D environment, which accurately shows materials used, lighting and even clients merchandise.
This information can then be used to create a walkthrough, which allows the client to see the design as if they were actually walking through the store. This software has proved its worth by getting clients into such new developments as the Chapelfield Centre in Norwich where the developer has strict criteria of how a store needs to look in order to be accepted into the centre.
